Are these pregnancy symptoms or flu symptoms?- My wife is on the pill, she is supposed to have her period this week since her pack is done. Yesterday she felt sick all day, she came home from work and laid on the couch and slept all day.
She didn’t have a fever, but felt like she was going to throw up when she sat up or walked.
She couldn’t eat anything because it made her stomach hurt.
No throwing up, no diarrhea and no cold symptoms.
She said her head hurt so bad and her joints ached.
Are these pregnancy symptoms or flu symptoms?
Should we get her a test?

These
sound more like flu symptoms than anything. She may have a cold or
maybe allergies. However, nausea, upset stomach, fatigue and aches and
pains are associated with pregnancy symptoms as well. There are other
pregnancy symptoms to look for as well - sore breasts, light spotting or
a missed period, morning sickness, etc. Since her period should be here
shortly you should wait and see if her period does come. If it doesn't
then she should definitely take a home pregnancy test. First Response is

Otherwise if her symptoms last longer than a week she should see a
doctor.
