How to get rid of vagina smell?-I
take a shower every day and wash real well in that area. But throughout
the day, I can smell my discharge through my pants and underwear. It's a
really strong smell too. At school, I get super embarrassed bc idk if
anyone else can smell it. I can't spread my legs for a second to sit
comfortably without getting a wave of vagina odor up my nose. It's
really embarrassing and idk how to fix it... please help
Your
vagina should smell musky but clean - it will be stronger at certain
points in your cycle, when aroused, when you need to shower, if you wear
synthetic materials, and if you spend a lot of time sitting down - if
it smells BAD such as like fish then it can be a sign of a vaginal
infection so you should talk to your doctor about tests for this.
Washing really well can actually be a bad thing - your vagina is self-cleaning and although your vulva needs to be cleaned regularly you only ever need to use water because smegma helps to protect against excessive bacterial growth so soap or washes aren't needed.
